About

Hello! I'm Andi Agung Prawira Negara (Agung Negara), and I'm currently a Master's student in Astronomy and Astrophysics at KU Leuven. My research interests lie broadly in computational astrophysics, particularly stellar evolution, as well as the application of machine learning to astronomical problems. I am also interested in space weather and data-driven approaches to understanding astrophysical phenomena.

Before joining KU Leuven, I completed my bachelor's degree in Physics at Universitas Hasanuddin. My undergraduate research explored how enhanced mass-loss rates during the red supergiant phase influence the evolution of massive stars using the one-dimensional stellar evolution code MESA .

At KU Leuven, my research focuses on the circumstellar environments of asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars. My thesis combines computational modelling, astrochemistry, and radiative transfer to investigate the physical and chemical processes in stellar winds and to better connect theoretical models with astronomical observations.
